SERIES 1 UPGRADE SERVICE

The FR app will work with all Flight Risk bikes that have been installed with the new Escape Interface. If you own a Series 1 bike and would like to upgrade your tech, we will arrange a qualified technician to do this for you. This tech upgrade is on us, and valued at $399.

FAQs

What’s the current status of the FR Escape App?
The app has been submitted and is currently awaiting approval from the Apple Store and Google Play. We’re excited to launch it as soon as it’s approved.
Why has the FR Escape App been delayed?
We ran into some technical challenges that took longer to solve than we expected. The extra time allowed us to revolutionise our original app vision and add first-to-market functions that are reliable.
What comes with the new tech and the app?
Every Escape Interface upgrade comes with a free 12-month subscription to the Escape App, two branded NFC cards, a 5.5" LCD display screen and control center hardware.
Can I control how my kid's ride with the new control panel and app?
Yes. With password protection, only you can adjust the bike’s power and speed settings, whether through the Escape Interface or the FR Escape App. For added safety, every time the bike is turned off, the motor power resets to max 250W and 25 km/h speed.
Will the app work with all Flight Risk e-bikes?
The FR app will work with all Flight Risk bikes that have been installed with the new Escape Interface.
Do I need the FR Escape App to enjoy my Flight Risk bike?
Your bike is already powerful. Now, with the FR Escape App and upgraded Escape Interface, you’ll unlock a new dimension: smarter features, remote control, seamless crew integration, and more ways to escape.
How can I get my bike upgraded with the new tech?
If you'd like your control panel updated, then register your interest. We'll contact you to help you schedule your upgrade with a technician.
